Black Bean Chili - It's Hot!

2 lbs. hamburger, browned
1 large onion, browned with hamburger
2 garlic cloves, minced and browned with hamburger
salt and pepper

When browned, add:

3 cans diced tomatoes (1 with green chiles, the others with garlic)
2 cans rinsed black beans
3/4 bag frozen corn
1 cup picante sauce/salsa
3/4 cup water
salt to taste
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
1/2 tsp. pepper
1 1/2 tsp. cumin
1 1/2 tsp. chile powder

Pour mixture into crock pot and heat on Medium 4-6 hours.

Toppings: Sour cream, grated cheddar, chopped black olives, chopped scallions

Serves: 12 or more
